1. You can contact us to check if we have a depowered steering rack in stock. If available, your depowered steering rack will be shipped within 5 working days. An additional deposit fee of 150 EUR will be required for the steering rack itself.
2. Alternatively, you can send us your powered steering rack, and we will perform this service on your own rack. Please note that this process may take a bit longer.

The process;

• Complete disassembly & pre-cleaning all parts.
• Sandblast / vapor blast parts depending on condition.
• Ultrasonic cleaning of most parts.
• TIG welding the pinion on a specially made welding jig.
• Inspection welded pinion for true roundness within 0,1mm.
• Optional powdercoating to original colour & condition.
• Inspection of all parts. Replace if/where necessary.
• Assembly carried out. including the correct, to Mazda factory manual, shaft pretension.

Will it feel like a workout, steering the car? ; No. Above 25 km/h it feels exactly like hydraulic assisted steering. Parallel parking requires more effort.

What is included in the package? ; This product includes the de-powered steering rack with new locking tabs.

Do I need to re-align the car after installation? ; Yes, as per the Mazda factory manual, you must re-align the car. Please see our ‘Download’ section for the installation guide.
